Terms of Service

These terms set out the rules for using Paradot AI, what you can expect from us and what we expect from you. Please read them before you start a conversation.

  1. Acceptance of these termsBy opening paradot-ai.com or using the Paradot AI service you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not accept them, please stop using the site.
  2. Who may use Paradot AIThe service is available only to individuals aged 18 or over who have the legal capacity to enter a binding agreement in their country of residence.
  3. Age verificationWe may ask for confirmation of age at any time. Providing false age information is a breach of these terms and leads to immediate closure of the account.
  4. Nature of the serviceParadot AI provides conversational companionship with fictional characters. Companions are written personas producing generated text, audio and images. They are not human beings and no message implies otherwise.
  5. No professional adviceNothing said by a companion is medical, psychological, legal, financial or safety advice. Always consult a qualified professional for decisions that matter.
  6. EmergenciesParadot AI is not a crisis service. If you are in danger or considering harming yourself, contact your local emergency number or a recognised crisis helpline immediately.
  7. Account registrationYou must provide accurate registration details and keep them current. One person may hold one account unless we agree otherwise in writing.
  8. Account securityYou are responsible for your password and for everything done through your account. Tell us at once if you suspect unauthorised access.
  9. Acceptable useUse Paradot AI lawfully and respectfully. Do not attempt to make a companion produce content involving minors, non-consensual acts, sexual violence, terrorism, trafficking or instructions for serious crime.
  10. Prohibited technical conductYou may not scrape the site, reverse engineer the service, bypass rate limits, run automated agents against it, probe our security or interfere with other members' access.
  11. Impersonation and third partiesDo not use the service to impersonate a real person, to build a likeness of a real individual, or to upload material about other people without their permission.
  12. Content you submitYou keep ownership of what you write. You grant Paradot AI a limited licence to store, process and display that content solely to operate the service for you.
  13. Generated contentText, audio and images produced by a companion are provided for your personal, non-commercial enjoyment. Commercial reuse requires our written permission.
  14. Accuracy of generated contentGenerated output can be inaccurate, inconsistent or unintentionally offensive. It reflects statistical patterns, not verified fact, and should never be relied upon as truth.
  15. Our intellectual propertyThe Paradot AI name, logo, page design, character writing, artwork and code are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law.
  16. Licence granted to youWe grant you a personal, revocable, non-transferable licence to access Paradot AI for your own private use, subject to these terms.
  17. Free and paid plansSome features are free. Others require a paid plan. The features included in each plan are described on the pricing section and may be adjusted with reasonable notice.
  18. Billing and renewalPaid subscriptions are charged in advance and renew automatically for the same period until cancelled. Prices shown include applicable taxes where required by law.
  19. CancellationYou may cancel a subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future charges and access continues to the end of the period already paid for.
  20. RefundsWhere consumer law grants a statutory withdrawal right, we honour it in full. Outside that, refunds are granted at our discretion, normally where a technical fault prevented use of a paid feature.
  21. ChargebacksRaising a chargeback without first contacting support may result in suspension of the account while the dispute is examined.
  22. AvailabilityWe aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee it. Maintenance, updates, provider failures and events beyond our control may interrupt the service.
  23. Changes to the serviceFeatures may be added, altered or withdrawn as the product develops. We give notice of significant changes that reduce the value of a paid plan.
  24. Suspension and terminationWe may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, presents a security or legal risk, or is used to abuse other members or our staff.
  25. Your right to leaveYou may stop using Paradot AI and delete your account at any time. Deletion is described in our Privacy Policy.
  26. Disclaimer of warrantiesThe service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
  27. Limitation of liabilityTo the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim connected to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
  28. Excluded lossesWe are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data, emotional distress or loss of opportunity arising from use of the service.
  29. IndemnityYou agree to cover reasonable losses we suffer as a result of your unlawful use of Paradot AI or your breach of these terms.
  30. Third-party servicesPayment processing, hosting and delivery involve third parties governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for their independent acts or omissions.
  31. Governing law and disputesThese terms are governed by the laws applicable at our place of establishment, without affecting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. Please contact support before starting formal proceedings.
  32. Changes to these termsWe may update these terms and will publish the revised date at the top of this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated version.
  33. Entire agreement and severabilityThese terms, together with the Privacy Policy, form the entire agreement between us. If any clause is held unenforceable, the remaining clauses stay in force.
